Thank you for taking the time to find out more about us! Brookline Labrador Retriever Rescue (BLRR) is a non profit volunteer organization that specializes in placing Labs and Lab mixes. Between 1997 and 2005, we placed about 400 Labs in their forever homes and we currently place an average of 100 dogs per year. We maintain a regularly updated list of available Labs that are being given up by their owners (but still living at home) and dogs pulled from shelters and placed in foster care with our volunteers. We evaluate both the dog and the prospective adopting home to help ensure a good fit for everyone. All dogs are vet checked and their shots updated before they are adopted.
BLRR serves areas of Pennsylvania and New Jersey depending on the number and availability of our volunteers.

Brookline Labrador Retriever Rescue Helping Labs Find Their Fur-Ever Homes
|
Happy Holidays from our Rescue family to your family! I’d like to take this
opportunity to thank each and every one of you who have helped our rescue
throughout the year. Your support of our Rescue is much appreciated and we
look forward to your continued support in 2008! Our hardworking volunteers
work year round to help labs in need. To afford our volunteers time to enjoy
the holiday season with their families and furkids, our rescue will close from
December 17th, 2007 through January 6th, 2008. Please look for us to return
to helping more labs find their “furever” homes in 2008!

Single chocolate male
looking for a loving family. I
am 10 years young
and looking for a special
family to live out my
'retirement' years with. My
ideal new family would
enjoy going for walks,
playing tug and generally
like me to be with them.
You know how us guys like
to supervise everything. My
supervisor role includes
letting you know if anyone
is coming near the house
and making sure that all
the trash is in the trash can
correctly. I will play with all
my toys but I don't pick
them up of course,
because I am the
supervisor. I'll also ensure
that I make everyone in the
house very happy, because
that is my most important
job. So if you would like to
read more about me and
possibly meet me, please
